Having known and worked with Seeta for over 10 years and it was the biggest pleasure to have been her photographer. I knew from the offset her Wedding was going to be one to remember as she is a perfectionist and her attention to detail is second to none. More so I knew that being a wedding planner she knew exactly how she wanted her Wedding to be so I was really excited to see everything unfold. It genuinely was one of the most enjoyable Weddings I have shot. So much love, energy and good vibes for both days. It just goes to show much Seeta & Keval are loved by their friends and families.
The first day was their Sangeet which was held at Kadwa Patidar Hall in Kenton. Unfortunately we experienced one of the wettest weeks this summer and would not stop during down when we were due to go and take some portraits before the event. Nothing would stop us and we went for it! With their colourful outfits and their high spirits it only meant we were going to come out with some amazing images which I was really happy with. We then headed back to the venue where the venue was beautifully decorated by Sandlewood events. The evening was filled with garba followed by several dance items by friends and families which were excellent with more dancing to end the night.
The following week was the Big Day! A stunning outdoor Civil Ceremony followed by a garden party and then a Reception at Hunton Park. After taking the Bridal and Groom prep shots which was so much fun we arranged for the couple to meet in the gardens to capture their ‘first look’ as we all decided to do the portraits before the ceremony. I just love capturing ‘first look’ expressions. So much anticipation and love which you will never be able to re create and love looking back at the images. It also tells a great story in the wedding album as well. The guests soon arrived and were all seated. Seeta’s entrance was truly remarkable. She choreographed her own dance and meany tears were shed as it was such a beautiful moment. The ceremony was extremely warming with a few readings and a song being sung but Seeta’s cousin. With bubbles being blown by all the guests it created the perfect picture whilst Seeta & Keval danced down the aisle as husband and wife!
Shortly after the ceremony all the guests made their way down to the lawn where the garden party was all set up. If was the first time I had heard All Jazzed Up play, based in Dorset where Keval lives. They were just phenomenal! Dont think I have heard a live band as good as them in a long time. The way they interacted with the guests was just brilliant. Birjwasi had set up a fantastic range of cocktails for everyone to enjoy in the heat and of course SNK provided the most delicious Indian street food dishes. After a few hours, everyone was asked to make their way to the marquee to enjoy the Reception where the entertainment was provided by RV Sounds. The night was incredible and the celebrations continued.
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did capturing the events. Enjoy viewing the images…
