Pennsylvania Castle Wedding — A Dreamy Destination Wedding Vibe in the UK

Set on the cliffs of Dorset with sweeping ocean views, this luxury wedding venue offered everything they dreamed of and more. When Priya & Nayan first contacted me to be their Indian wedding photographer in the UK, I knew instantly this was going to be an incredible celebration. Not only was their venue nothing short of magical, but as I got to know them, their warmth and fun energy made me even more excited to capture their day. This was also a special wedding for me because I filmed it as a hybrid wedding photographer — shooting both photos and video solo. It’s a new creative format I’ve started offering, and it’s been amazing bringing movement and stills together to tell a complete visual story.
A Pre-Wedding Shoot with Cinematic Views
Before the wedding festivities began, we found the perfect outdoor location not far from the venue — rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs, and endless sea views. Ideal for drone shots and epic portraits, it was the perfect way to kick off this destination-style UK wedding.
A Sunset Welcome BBQ
Guests arrived to a relaxed evening BBQ on the lawn of Pennsylvania Castle, with the sun setting over the horizon. The atmosphere was chilled, intimate, and full of anticipation — the perfect start to a multi-day wedding celebration.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony with a View
The wedding day began with rain, but luck was on their side. The weather cleared just in time, and Priya & Nayan were able to have their outdoor Indian wedding ceremony exactly as they had imagined. As the Jaan (groom’s procession) began, the sun broke through — revealing blue skies and stunning views of the sea. When Priya walked in, she and Nayan embraced with the emotion of two people who had waited forever for this moment. Their ceremony was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments — the kind you can feel through photos.
Cliffside Romance & A Beach Adventure
From the castle gardens to the cliffs overlooking the ocean, this venue delivered pure cinematic beauty. After the ceremony, we made our way down to the beach — quite the journey, especially with Priya wearing her bridal lengha — but absolutely worth it. Those portraits were next-level.
A Reception Overlooking the English Channel
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace, taking in more ocean views before heading inside for speeches and dinner. Once the music kicked in, the room transformed — and the party turned into a full-on rave. The best kind of ending to an unforgettable celebration.
